In my opinion, and in the opinion of the majority of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, guardians and caregivers of our precious little children, whom I have spoken with over the years, they agree there are certain things that should be taught in school, and there are certain things that belong in the home.
Reading, writing, math, science, history, and the arts should be taught in school. Personal issues like gender identity and sexual relations/behavior/attractions should be discussed at home with loved relatives and/or guardians, those who truly know their children the best!
“I’m calling for Transparency in our schools, including the books and materials our children read. I’m calling for Parents to have the right to know and see what their children are exposed to? Who would be against that?”
As you can see by my Response to “Resolution Against Book Bans” I presented to the Board, I recommended NOT that books be banned, but that parents be given the sole authority to decide what books their impressionable little children’s minds be permitted to see, to hear, and to read in their classrooms, in their school libraries, and in the digital library the FMSD makes available to children on their chrome books, on their iPads, and at home on the internet, most of the time without the parents’ knowledge, supervision or approval.
This list is only a short sample of Gender Confusion books in the FMSD School libraries. This needs to change! Parents have rights over what their children see. Let them decide what’s best for their children!
Maybe parents didn’t know that the other 3 FMSD Board members (excluding Ho Hong, who was recently elected) voted to allow these books in your children’s libraries. They (George Sanchez, his son, Steven Sanchez, and Rudy Rodriguez) voted to:
Allow female hygiene products (i.e., Tampons, Tampax, etc.…) to be put in all little boys’ bathrooms.
Change the spelling of “Woman” and “Women” to “Womxn” during Women’s History Month (confuse our children more).
Pay $50,000 for an after-school program which teaches girls how to act like girls in the 21st century (I thought that was the job of parents at home!).
Add another month of LGBTQ+ to the school calendar to teach the history of the LGBTQ+ movement, overlapping and replacing Hispanic Heritage Month.
The nonsense needs to stop NOW! I ALWAYS stand up for parents’ rights, the education of their children, and the transparency of our district to let parents know what is going on in their schools!
